Chef Amilcar Lima reached out, and we communicated via video call and chat to plan a menu. We agreed on a selection of meals, including a continental breakfast, a BBQ lunch with some cold and hot appetizers, and a formal birthday dinner with main dishes and desserts.

However, both my CEO and our guests were deeply disappointed with the overall experience. Here are the main issues we encountered:

Food Quality and Presentation: The presentation did not meet the standards we discussed. Portions and plating fell far below the expected restaurant-level appearance. Some items, such as bread and croissants, appeared to be low-quality store-bought products that were simply reheated, resulting in poor taste.

Food Preparation: Several dishes were undercooked, detracting from the dining experience and raising safety concerns.

Missing Items: Most disappointingly, none of the desserts were served at the birthday dinner, which was a key part of our agreement.

Inappropriate Interactions: During the event, Chef Lima shared details of his financial difficulties with guests, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

I have attached photos to help illustrate the issues with the food presentation and quality.

Given the importance of this occasion and the expectations set, I believe a partial or full reimbursement would be appropriate. Please let me know your thoughts on how we might resolve this matter.
