Private chefs in Corvo

We hired Chef Thomas to cook our family group or 8 adults two dinners during our holiday in the Algarve. From the outset he was very helpful, prompt in responses and a pleasure to correspond with hence why I selected him. He was more than happy to cater the menus for our tastes including allowing for dietaries and the food was outstanding. We also asked him to select some suitable wines for the meals and provided huge details on them when serving. Overall he was a brilliant choice and a very talented chef.

Thomas was amazing. Quick to respond to messages before I confirmed the booking and menu and v efficient once in the kitchen. We had an amazing evening with wonderful food. Thomas and his assistant were friendly and informative throughout. Would definitely recommend.

An unforgettable experience! The food was simply incredible — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with such care. Beyond the amazing dishes, Chef Luis himself was respectful and professional, which made the evening feel effortless. Truly a 5-star experience I’d recommend to anyone!

Our dinner at home with Luis Miguel as our private chef was a pure delight. His dishes were superb, and beautifully prepared. He also offered charming company during the evening, and served efficiently and graciously, as well as leaving the place spotless. In short, a highly pleasurable experience which we will be looking to repeat with Luis in the near future.

Chef Caglan was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish! We’d been in communication for a few months before the event planning the menus and he was responsive, creative and flexible. His food was SO delicious for both the lunch and dinner he cooked. Would recommend him to everyone and hire again next time in Portugal. Thank you again!

We had the pleasure of having Chef Vera cook for our hen party, and we couldn't recommend her more! She arrived at 5 PM to start prepping, everyone who walked past the kitchen mentioned how amazing it smelt. By 8 PM, the table was beautifully set, and we were treated to a feast that included everything from cheeses and olives to chicken wings, peri peri chicken, Picanha steak, seafood, potatoes, and salads. The prawns, steak and potatoes were the star of the show, everyone loved them so much, we barely had enough to go around! The food was all delicious, and we had plenty of leftovers, which made for a perfect lunch the next day. Chef Vera was professional, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. We would definitely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for something different for their event. A truly memorable experience, thank you, Chef Vera!

Jack catered a home party for 25 guests. The food was wonderful and accommodated well every guest that had dietary restrictions. He also selected great wines and coordinates wine glass rentals. His menu was very diverse and enticing. And definitely A+ when it comes to communicating and coordinating.

Tiago and Patrica where superb! The communication from the very first contact was exceptional and Tiago was very responsive to our needs and altering the menu to suit us and our guests. On the day the food Tiago and Patricia produced was amazing and all the little 'extras' that they provided very much appreciated and enjoyed by us and our guests. Without any hesitation I can throughly recommend Tiago. I just wish I had taken pictures of the food to add to this review.

Tiago was fantastic! I highly recommend hiring him. He was very responsive, flexible and super friendly prior to and during our yoga retreat. He straight away understood our needs and proposed great menus. During the retreat he listened to our feedback and adapted the subsequent meals e.g. reduced sugar. The food was great, including taste & presentation. Tiago pays attention to detail, the service and explanation of the dishes is highly professional. We felt very well taken care of, thank you so much Tiago!!

The dinner was canceled well in advance because of a miscommunication on location thru no fault of Chef or myself. I have tried to contact Chef Maison 3X to get a refund. No response from them. Having to dispute charge with credit card company. I would appreciate it if Chef Maison would contact me or better yet, just refund to original form of payment. Right now cannot give this platform (ChefMaison) a good review.

Amazing! The ovelha was fantastic, and he was extremely accommodating with making special dishes for a few people with gluten allergies. I would highly recommend him!

Delicious. What an amazing food and wine pairing. We all enjoyed the authentic experience and taste.

Vera cooked a wonderful 6 dish buffet style meal for 14 people which included some traditional Portuguese dishes. The baked creamy cod, garlic & lemon shrimp, and duck rice dishes were our favourites.
