Born in Italy with Nigerian roots, cooking has always been my way of connecting — with people, with memories, and with emotion. Long before I stepped into culinary school in Italy, I was already in the kitchen, hosting friends and their mums, feeding them stories from my life alongside whatever I had cooked that day. I’ve always loved experimenting, and even when my early creations missed the mark, there was always that one auntie willing to taste them with an open heart. My formal training in Italy refined the instincts I’d carried since childhood. It gave structure to my creativity and taught me precision, respect for ingredients, and the beauty of simplicity. After graduating, I moved to London, where I worked in refined AA Rosette and Michelin-starred restaurants. Those years shaped my technique and deepened my understanding of high-end cuisine. When I eventually settled in Manchester, I felt a strong pull to bring both sides of my heritage together. That’s when Fely Delice was born — a personal dining experience where I come to your home and cook Italian, Nigerian, or a thoughtful fusion of the two. Every menu tells a story, whether it’s a nostalgic Nigerian classic, an elegant Italian dish, or something that beautifully bridges both worlds. What I love most is listening. Before I cook, I take the time to understand what you want to feel at your table — whether that’s comfort, celebration, romance, or pure joy. Then I translate those emotions into flavours. For me, food has never just been about taste; it’s about creating a moment that stays with you long after the plates are cleared.
