We called on Nicola Castie for our son's birthday. He was great. His cuisine is creative with new flavors, the presentation is impeccable. We can only recommend it.

Tres bonne experience avec le Chef Nicola ! Malgre la chaleur du 21 juin, il a su nous faire passer un très bon moment et profiter de sa cuisine raffinée et recherchée !! Il a aussi su adapter le repas aux « difficultés » proposées par l’un de nos enfants ….

We wanted a private chef to enjoy a great meal as a family but without the stress of having an infant at a “late” dinner time in Europe. Nicola made a delicious gourmet meal for our family. He adapted certain menu items for our daughters (ages 10 and 7), and paced the dinner so we could get our infant to bed in the middle. He did not rush us and ensured everything came out hot. Most importantly, the meal was delightful, creative, with a clever use of vegetables, and unique. We have dined at a lot of Michelin star restaurants, and I enjoyed this just as much. He also made it all in a very tiny and under equipped Airbnb kitchen, without any degradation to the dish quality.

Nicola cooked a birthday brunch for my friends and I, and it was genuinely one of the best meals I've had. I came to him with a simple request: a hearty brunch. He took that and turned it into something really special. He's warm, professional, personable, and his presentation is stunning. What blew me away was how he elevated the familiar into something extraordinary. He did these incredible whipped cheese courses: same base cheese, prepared two ways, sweet and savory. It was as clever as it was delicious. His grandmother's compote was a beautiful personal touch. And the French toast? I've had a lot of French toast in my life.. this was the BEST. If you're on the fence, just book him.
