Hello, my name is Giuseppe but everyone calls me Joe due that I was born and lived in the United States till the age of 16 when I moved to Italy with my family that is originally from Sicily and I live in Viareggio, Tuscany in the last 29 years. I come from a family with strong fishermen background and culinary traditions.

In my younger age I work as a fishermen with my dad, but my passion for cooking is always been strong to decide to start my culinary career, first as kitchen assistant that gave me the chance to show my skills and to be offered a position to run the kitchen as chef. In a short time I was able to work as chef in a few restaurants and a hotel, after I gained confidence and organization skills I proceeded in the yachting industry with over 9 years of experience as private chef.

Thanks to the fact that I have traveled in my younger age and for work after, I have picked up a variety of taste, from the rich and tasty Sicilian cuisine to the more delicate Tuscany cuisine and Mediterranean.

I love cooking fish coming from a fishing family, but the thing that I love the most is barbecuing and grilling.
