Hortense was as excellent as we’d hoped for my husband’s birthday dinner. She was professional, kind and her food was absolutely delicious. She had the unfortunate experience of an oven that didn’t work and she pulled it off like a pro, creating a delicious meal for 18 of us to enjoy! We will surely hire her again when we come to the area. Merci Hortense!

We loved the dinner experience with Chef Hortense. All courses were well-balanced, from amuse bouche all the way to dessert. Her wine recommendations worked really well for the different courses. Our dialogue and interaction from quotation, ordering, arrival at our place and then her work was perfect. Communication was easy when we discussed food choices, allergies, exact timing. She did a great job observing our food preferences as well as on presenting each course, alternating between French and English. As we had an open kitchen, we could follow the artistic process. We remained curious about what we ate and Hortense did a great job presenting the four courses we had, how she had prepared them, cooking style, etc. We can absolutely recommend her for a dinner party.

Chef Hortense was delightful to work with! She was professional and prompt in our communication and the night of the event arrived on time and fully prepared to deliver a wonderful meal. The dinner she prepared was delicious and enjoyed by all. I highly recommend her and would welcome the opportunity to work with her again!

We absolutely loved our dinner with Chef Hortense! It was sadly our last night on Holiday but what a fantastic way to end a trip! Chef Hortense prepared an amazing dinner for eight people and had it on schedule as promised. The flavors and presentation were outstanding. A fabulous meal and service from Chef Hortense to celebrate my partners Birthday. From initial contact and corresponding on menu options to her arrival on the day everything went very well. The meal was served promptly with the flavours and presentation of an outstanding quality. Hortense is a very personable, pleasant and polite individual and was very accommodating to our requests. Thankfully for me her English was perfect too. I highly recommend Chef Hortense.

La cheffe Hortense a été d'un professionnalisme et d'une gentillesse durant toute la préparation en amont et pendant le diner lui même. • La préparation a été d'une facilité grâce à ses communications claires et efficaces. Elle a su également s'adapter et proposer des solutions gourmandes avec les contraintes alimentaires présentées. • Le service en lui même était impeccable - la cheffe s'est adaptée avec facilitée à notre rythme et cerise sur le gâteau, elle a même pu expliquer chaque plat en anglais, thank you! • Enfin la cuisine était très bien rangée et nettoyée au départ de la cheffe. In fine, les 10 convives ont tous adoré les plats servis par la cheffe Hortense. Un vrai délice ! Nous recommandons vivement ses prestations.
