Nous avons fait appel à Guilherme pour cuisiner lors des 50 ans de mariage de mes parents à Nîmes, pour 25 convives, et l’expérience a été formidable du début à la fin.
Guilherme a été très à l’écoute de nos envies et a proposé un menu de saison à la fois frais, original et absolument délicieux. Chaque plat était parfaitement exécuté et présenté avec passion : nous avons particulièrement apprécié le fait qu’il prenne le temps d’expliquer chaque met aux invités.
Au-delà de la qualité de la cuisine, son professionnalisme a été remarquable, notamment dans sa volonté de demander des retours et de s’assurer que tout le monde passe un excellent moment.

We all really enjoyed our experience with Chef Guilherme. Communication was good, and adhered to the dietary requirements of our group very well.
Our menu could have been a little more ‘French’ as dishes were inspired by other counties around Europe, however, all guests enjoyed the meal. The ingredients were good quality and the edible flowers looked lovely.
Chef Guilherme and his member of staff were very attentive and friendly and they respected the house we were renting and left it immaculate. We can’t fault that!
Thank you for making our first night in Ardèche a great one!

Chef Guilherme provided an absolutely outstanding culinary experience for our entire family celebration at our Airbnb in Courthézon, France. Traveling from the United States, we hoped for a special evening together, and he exceeded every expectation.
The beautifully polished five-course meal was exquisite from beginning to end, with incredible flavors, elegant presentation, and thoughtful attention to every detail. Each course was introduced so beautifully by Chef Guilherme and his assistant, adding such warmth and sophistication to the evening.
What impressed us just as much was the care taken beyond the meal itself. Every pot, pan, dish, and table setting was handled with such thoughtfulness and precision. We were able to simply relax, enjoy one another, and savor an unforgettable experience together as a family.
Bravo, Chef Guilherme! Our entire family highly recommends him. Truly an outstanding experience in every way!

Le chef et son second ont été fabuleux ! Ils nous ont réservé un repas mieux qu'au restaurant !
La table était décorée avec goût et les différents plats étaient délicieux, de l'amuse bouche au dessert. Le chef nous a présenté tous ses plats et sa façon de cuisiner.

We invited Guilherme to cook for a special birthday dinner in Avignon, and it was a really lovely evening.
He and his colleague Antoine were punctual and professional, and the service throughout the evening was warm and attentive.
The food was well balanced and thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions that everyone appreciated. Each course felt carefully put together, and it was clear that attention had been given to both ingredients and detail. They even left the kitchen spotless at the end of the night.

Thank you for a wonderful evening! Super friendly and very accommodating. We were a group of 9, one of us was a vegetarian, and he created a fantastic menu for us.
Guilherme and Antoine were a brilliant team and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was excellent, especially the seabass. The table set up was beautiful and really thoughtful.

Our group of eight from the United States hired Chef Guilherme Costa to provide dinner for us at our vacation villa.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening with great food and friends! Our meal was expertly prepared and had a unique blend of Portuguese and French influences, due to Chef Guilherme's background. The courses were not heavy-laden with sauces or intense spices, but instead seasoned subtly to let the full flavor of the meat, vegetables, fruits, and cheeses shine through. The ingredients were extremely fresh and the entire meal had a light taste to it that did not end with everyone feeling uncomfortably overfull.
Chef Guilherme and his assistant Antoine were very friendly, cheerful and eager to please. They were very conversational and accommodating throughout the evening with attention to detail in table setting, plating, and food allergies. Their cleanup process was fast and efficient, yet extremely thorough.
We recommend Chef Guilherme Costa for those interested in great food, wonderful presentation, and making memories!

Chef Guilherme et son acolyte Antoine nous ont fourni un service majestueux
La cuisine était tout simplement délicieuse et la prestation de très haute qualité
Pour cette occasion importante (EVG) nous avons engagé Guilherme en tant que chef privé. Ce dernier nous a concocté un menu pour 10 personnes inspiré de ses racines Portugaises et Italiennes. Avec de la passion et une touche d'émotion, la prestation du chef est venue sublimer ce moment intime.
Pratique et à l'écoute de nos souhaits, il s'est adapté à nos demandes comme par exemple accorder le menu à notre sélection de vin nature.

We had such a special evening with Chef Guilherme coming to our house and providing a lovely special dinner for 16 of us. I booked in very last minute and he was amazing at pulling together a menu for both adults and children, he arrived in time and cooked a lovely lovely meal. The table decorations were so nice and added a lovely extra specialness to the evening. Guilherme was professional, left the kitchen very neat and tidy and most of all had made delicious food!

Yes, at checkout you can choose to pay a deposit. We’ll charge 30% upfront to secure your date with the chef, and the remaining balance will be charged 14 days before the event.
Cancellations
We offer an optional flexible booking service designed to give you peace of mind. By adding this service when confirming your reservation, you'll have the flexibility to cancel your event up to 7 days before the scheduled date, ensuring you have extra security if your plans change. Unfortunately, cancellations within 3 days of the event cannot be refunded due to grocery shopping and chef preparations. For a worry-free experience, consider taking advantage of this additional service when you book. Otherwise, our standard terms and conditions will apply.
This rarely happens. We have strict rules on cancelling our guests's requests and incentivize our chefs to never cancel. However, there might be emergencies. In this case, we will try to look for a chef within 24 hours of the cancellation - we cannot guarantee anything though. Refunds are of course granted if we cannot provide an alternative chef

The cost of a private chef can vary greatly depending on several factors. Chefmaison ensures transparent pricing communication so that customers know exactly what to expect. There are no additional costs on the evening itself.
The chef should generally arrive between 1 and 2 hours in advance, although this will be variable on a per-request basis and will be communicated through the chat
A private chef is a chef who is hired by different clients for a specific event or time. A personal chef is a chef who is hired by one client full-time or part-time for a longer period of time - for example on vacation, for mealprepping or at home. ChefMaison offers both services.
Our chefs are very creative - and can find a solution to any dietary restriction or preference. Please use the chat to communicate your wishes
The chef will communicate with you anything he needs. Tableware, cutlery, and glasses can be provided by the chef on request. Use the chat with the chef to communicate your wishes!
