About Chef Ed Hoogendijk
He was born to make people happy. The always energetic and positive hospitality jack-of-all-trades Ed Hoogendijk is a chef, entrepreneur, TV chef, organizer, husband and above all father. "I always try to be very helpful to others," he says.
Hospitality goes beyond running your own business, believes entrepreneur Ed Hoogendijk, who is always looking for great collaborations. He started a restaurant in Delft with his wife Miranda Bistro in 1995, and 2006 they opened two more restaurants. He developed and committed himself to various projects such as Uit eten met Ina, a social project for single people, Discover Culinary Netherlands and organized many events such as; Delft Serveert, Aan tafel bij Lambert and Villa Arsenaal. Everything ran like clockwork, Hoogendijk says proudly. From 2015, Ed could be seen weekly on RTL4 in the TV program Nederland Proeft. In 2016, he was named Most Outstanding Hospitality Entrepreneur of Zuid-Holland-Noord by KHN.
In 2018, Ed sought adventure with his family by moving to Ibiza. Soon he lost his heart to the island. Mainly the pure, local and fresh products attracted Ed's attention. So it didn't take long for him to pursue his passion and now work as a chef on the island.
