My name is Dario, although many now know me as “Piatti d’Autore.”

My passion for cooking began at a young age, alongside my grandmother Carmela, whose dishes still represent my greatest source of inspiration.

The Sicilian influences present in my cuisine come from my grandfather Salvatore, who introduced me to the authentic flavors of his homeland—flavors I still love to explore and experiment with today.

I later developed this passion by attending the “Maggia” Hospitality Institute in Stresa. However, life circumstances led me to step away from the kitchen for a period of time.

A few years ago, thanks to love, I rediscovered my deep passion for cooking and realized how fulfilling it is to share it with others.

All the dishes on my menus are the result of my own creativity. My recipes are not inspired by external sources: I study and experiment with ideas and flavor combinations independently.

For me, a dish must not only be visually appealing, but above all delicious and original. It must truly be a signature creation.
