Yes, at checkout you can choose to pay a deposit. Weโll charge 30% upfront to secure your date with the chef, and the remaining balance will be charged 14 days before the event.
Cancellations
We offer an optional flexible booking service designed to give you peace of mind. By adding this service when confirming your reservation, you'll have the flexibility to cancel your event up to 7 days before the scheduled date, ensuring you have extra security if your plans change. Unfortunately, cancellations within 3 days of the event cannot be refunded due to grocery shopping and chef preparations. For a worry-free experience, consider taking advantage of this additional service when you book. Otherwise, our standard terms and conditions will apply.
This rarely happens. We have strict rules on cancelling our guests's requests and incentivize our chefs to never cancel. However, there might be emergencies. In this case, we will try to look for a chef within 24 hours of the cancellation - we cannot guarantee anything though. Refunds are of course granted if we cannot provide an alternative chef

The chef should generally arrive between 1 and 2 hours in advance, although this will be variable on a per-request basis and will be communicated through the chat
