Chef Maeva prepared a wonderful meal for ten people. Despite the extreme heat, she created a wonderful meal and dining experience. She was flexible and seamlessly adapted to our needs. While she was cooking, she chatted with our two youngest family members and allowed them a few samples!
The food and wine were excellent. She left the kitchen spotless.
Our evening with Chef Maeva was a real treat and a highlight of our trip.

Maeve was hired to deliver a 6 course menu that met expectations. Very solution-oriented and delivered very good food. The menu was put together with Maeva and me. Maeva helped create a good atmosphere and a cozy mood. We were left with a fantastic experience and can be highly recommended.

We hired Chef Maeva to celebrate a special occasion of my mom's and stepdad's 60th birthday. Maeva was very flexible with our menu & budget wishes. We have some dietary restrictions and had a vegan last minute addition to our party as well. The food was beautifully presented and everyone thought it was delicious. We would definitely hire Maeva again and would recommend her without hesitation!
Due to being accidentally double booked, Maeva was a little late to our party. She let me know ahead of time so we could plan around it, so it wasn't a big deal. But her whole demeanor was a little anxious and rushed as a result.

Poor Experience – Last-Minute Cancellation and No Accountability
We had planned two dinners with this chef as part of a company event. The communication during the planning stage was smooth, and we were genuinely looking forward to the experience.
Unfortunately, the dinner never happened. The chef cancelled at the very last minute — only after I reached out to ask what time we should expect her. This left us in a really difficult situation, as everything had already been planned around her service. We were forced to scramble for a last-minute solution, which was stressful and not easy to arrange on short notice.
After the cancellation, we requested a refund. At first, the chef said it would take time — and since then, she has completely disappeared and stopped responding altogether.
This was a deeply disappointing and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend booking this chef, especially if you’re planning something important or time-sensitive

FAQs
A private chef through ChefMaison typically costs between €80–€150 per person, depending on party size, menu complexity, and extras like wine pairings — final pricing is always confirmed in a personalized quote from your chef. Each chef profile shows an indicative starting price, so you can compare options before requesting a quote. Every quote breaks down costs clearly upfront, meaning no hidden fees on the night itself. Once you approve the proposal, you can book and pay securely through the ChefMaison platform.
The chef should generally arrive between 1 and 2 hours in advance, although this will be variable on a per-request basis and will be communicated through the chat
A private chef is a chef who is hired by different clients for a specific event or time. A personal chef is a chef who is hired by one client full-time or part-time for a longer period of time - for example on vacation, for mealprepping or at home. ChefMaison offers both services.
Our chefs are very creative - and can find a solution to any dietary restriction or preference. Please use the chat to communicate your wishes
The chef will communicate with you anything he needs. Tableware, cutlery, and glasses can be provided by the chef on request. Use the chat with the chef to communicate your wishes!
