Hi, I’m Fernanda Monteiro, a private chef based in Barcelona. My love for cooking started the moment I took my first bite of sushi as a child in Brazil — and from that instant, I knew this was what I wanted to do with my life. Cooking, for me, has always been about care, connection, and sharing joy through food.

I trained in gastronomy at SENAC São Paulo and have worked in Japanese and international restaurants, as well as running my own Asian catering project, Asiatik. My true passion is Asian cuisine, especially sushi, where every dish is an opportunity to tell a story, balance flavors, and create a moment to savor.

I also authored Sushi CookBook para curiosos y apasionados (available on Amazon), a reflection of my journey and love for sushi, sharing the art and joy of making it.

In private dining, I focus on creating meals that are thoughtful, delicious, and filled with care, food that nourishes both body and soul.
