I am Maria Sole, a personal chef based in Bologna. I bring the flavors of Italian cuisine—and the traditions of Bologna—directly to your home, offering personalized menus, handmade fresh pasta, and a special focus on plant-based cooking.

I turned my passion for food into a profession, training at Gambero Rosso and further honing my skills through experience at an Italian restaurant in Australia. In Bologna, I worked as a *sfoglina* (a traditional pasta maker), crafting *tagliatelle*, *tortelloni*, and *lasagne* by hand—a craft that remains at the heart of my cooking today.

My offerings range from traditional dinners featuring local recipes and regional ingredients to entirely plant-based menus, where I explore ingredients, textures, and flavor pairings with the same meticulous care I apply to the great classics. Every dish is guided by seasonality and the quality of the raw ingredients.

Whether it’s an intimate dinner, an evening with friends, or a special occasion, I work with you to design a menu tailored to your personal tastes and the needs of your guests. I also provide meal preparation for your day-to-day life and host cooking lessons for those who want to get hands-on, learning recipes and techniques to take back to their own kitchens.
