I grew up watching my mother prepare delicious, special dishes and I inherited every gesture in the kitchen from her.
I revisit traditional dishes and combine worlds.
I write the story of each dish on my pages because we find the recipe everywhere but how we arrived at that dish is equally important to know.

Chef Sabrina was delightful. She set a lovely table, complete with candles and a charming menu . Warm artisanal bread that she had baked herself awaited us. We enjoyed the leftover buns the next day, toasted for breakfast. The main dish of sea bass was served with yellow and red tomato tartare made with tomatoes from her own garden--a nice touch. Chef Sabrina served the many courses seamlessly and we felt we were in a fine restaurant. Our favorite dishes: the bronze drawn spaghetti with wild caught clams with pesto of clams and courgettes was amazing. We had never tasted those tiny, sweet clams before and they were a real surprise! This was one of the best dishes we had in our entire trip to Sicily!! For dessert, Chef Sabrina prepared her own version of the traditional cassatina, constructed of cake, raspberries, chocolate bits and sweetened ricotta, frosted with marzipan and garnished with fresh raspberries and finely diced candied fruit. Perfect for my birthday! Our criticisms are few. Overall, the dishes were served only slightly warm, rather than hot, which may have been as they were intended to be. The starter of grilled giant orange prawns was disappointing as the prawns were very mushy in texture. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and we recommend Chef Sabrina wholeheartedly. If you are not accustomed to eating so many courses or you wish to have the temperature of your selections a bit warmer, you should make your requests known and I am sure she will accommodate you.
