About Chef Maria VirginiaPisa
Pisa
I’m 23 yrs old, I’m married and I live in a loft near Pisa.
I opened my home restaurant two years ago and I like hosting people from all over the world to make them try my Tuscan creative cuisine.
My father is a chef and I grew up in his restaurant. I learned the basics of Italian cuisine from him, then I took part in many masterclasses, but my passion is the real engine of my cuisine. I’ve always thought that cooking is an act of love and making people happy through my dishes is definitely the best job in the world. Food is culture and and eating traditional plates is for everyone a personal growth.
Since last year I started to work as private chef for tourists on vacation in Tuscany.
I also teach the basics of Italian cuisine in my pasta making class.
I offer a truly immersive Italian culinary experience: my fusion of Tuscan tradition with my own creative, contemporary flair brings new life to classic flavors, all made with locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to tell a story of Tuscany’s rich culinary heritage, presented with a modern aesthetic. Outside the kitchen, I enjoy playing the piano, finding parallels between the art of cooking and music.
