I am Solène, a French chef based in Berlin since a few years now.
Inspired by my Mediterranean roots - thanks to the best cook & Spanish grandmother on earth and a pied-noir dad who brought Moroccan culture into our home - and my latest travels in South-East Asia, my cuisine has always been mixing different styles. Originally rather generous and traditional, I developed a more creative, modern and healthy approach with the time since I am instinctively guided by two principles : experiment new things and cook sustainably. They both naturally brought me to the fermentation world that I have been hooked on in the past years and I am very excited when it comes to share new and unique flavors born out of it.
Most of the fruits & veggies - placed at the heart of my cooking - are sourced locally following the rhythm of the seasons and I try my best to honor every product by avoiding waste. Some of the products are also foraged by myself.
I love to cook vegetables and fish but I can also offer a 100% vegan menu as well as one with meat. Cocktail-style/buffets or at the table, from 5 to 100+ people, everything is possible and menus are all customized depending on your wishes.
