Welcome to MOYŌ — an exclusive Toro & Wagyu concept hidden inside the PAINDEMIE Speakeasy Bar in Amsterdam Oud-West.

Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening, chef Guillaume de Beer hosts an intimate omakase-inspired dining experience centered around two of Japan’s most luxurious ingredients: Toro and Wagyu. In true PAINDEMIE style, guests are guided through a refined chef’s choice tasting menu where premium cuts, seasonal ingredients and Japanese-inspired techniques come together in an immersive culinary experience.

MOYŌ combines the atmosphere of a hidden speakeasy with the elegance of high-end Japanese dining. Expect rich toro sashimi, premium wagyu preparations, carefully curated sake pairings and an ambiance filled with warm lighting, mirrors, marble surfaces and retro-futuristic design details.

The venue is located above PAINDEMIE, one of Amsterdam’s most talked-about food concepts, known for its Japanese-inspired aesthetic and creative culinary approach. Upstairs, MOYŌ transforms the space into an intimate private dining setting perfect for company dinners, celebrations, private events and exclusive group experiences.

In addition to evening private dining experiences, MOYŌ also offers exclusive private lunches, brunches and recurring weekly event concepts. Private lunches, brunches and weekly event formats are available starting from a fixed venue fee of €3500.

Private dining evening events are available with a fixed venue fee and chef’s menu packages. Optional sake and drinks pairings are available per guest.
