Our evening with Chef Derek was unforgettable. It was one of the most ecstatic dining experiences I had in my life, comparable to Alinea in Chicago, but this time in our very own apartment. We discussed making a wedding and fathers day suprise to my husband who is an extremely picky eater, a New Yorker with well developed taste. Derek didn’t only transformed our apartment to a fine dining space but both visually, and tastefully crafted an unexpected, elegant, delicious yet very warm feeling. We can not wait to go back to their supper club, experience the warmth, beauty and creativity again. Derek and his partner are very professional, creative, passionate food and experience artists. I can 200% recommend them for any special occasion or just for a life enhancing treat for yourselves!

From the first communication till the end we had a great experience. With the help of Ashley I could great an amazing 4 course diner in Japanse style. We were amazed how well all was prepared and presented. The table was done by Ashley to start with and before she left all was cleaned up. The food was really really nice and well balanced. As this was the first time we had a cook at our house she really exceeded our expectations. We can highly recommend her!

Chef Andrea Borghero is not only a genuinely kind person, he’s also an exceptional cook. We hosted a dinner for four and he impressed us with every single dish. Thank you, Chef, for an unforgettable evening and a wonderful experience.

Het was een erg fijne avond. We hadden een workshop aangevraagd, maar ivm de kleine woonkamer en keuken van onze vakantiewoning was dit niet geheel goed uitvoerbaar. Dit hebben we vooraf ook met elkaar besproken. Knap hoe Jan in een kleine keuken toch een heerlijk menu heeft kunnen maken en alles zo netjes heeft kunnen houden! Jan was erg prettig in contact en kon veel vertellen over de gerechten en bijpassende wijnen.

We zijn erg blij met wat Dante heeft gekookt. Hij werd door ons uitgedaagd om ook met een plantaardig 'vleesgerecht' te komen en dat heeft hij geweldig gedaan. De wine paring was helemaal top! Bovendien is Dante heel aardig en bescheiden. Dus een prachtige combinatie van lekker eten met een prettige chef.

We loved the experience with chef Elizabeth! I booked a dinner for a surprise birthday party with my friends and chef Elisabeth delivered a great experience. She was flexible, communicated quickly and was very fun to be around, she was perfect for our party. Key highlights were the ajo blanco soup and the main meal (meat dish) and a nice sharing desert experience. I highly recommend her! Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the meals!

Aaron was super nice and super friendly. I wasn’t feeling great that day and he was so kind a really supportive. He went out of his was to still help me have a good day. The food was amazing and respected the wishes. Communication was also perfect.

Great communication, really tried to accommodate all our wishes and deliver outstanding results ! The guests were happy with how delicious the food was, and the hosts were thrilled to see the kitchen was left in impeccably clean state at the end of night. Het was echt een beleving! De gastvrijheid, het eten, het verhaal, echt een happening en een aanrader.

We hebben Chekok Miel ingehuurd om privé te koken op locatie voor een groep van 11 dames. Het overleg vooraf verliep heel prettig: snelle reacties en duidelijke afspraken. Het eten was heerlijk en met zorg bereid. Na afloop liet hij de keuken netjes achter. Echt een aanrader voor wie een fijne en smakelijke ervaring op locatie zoekt!

Het diner voor 12 personen ging fantastisch, van sommige personen wisten wij niet dat ze bepaalde gerechten niet lusten, Marjolein had ter plaatse een oplossing.

This was a phenomenal experience! We really enjoyed the superb quality of Merlin & Sebastiaan's menu in the comfort and intimacy of our own home. Presentation was excellent. Food quality and creativity was great, with good consideration to dietary restrictions. Communication was smooth and the overall experience was absolutely 5 stars. Een absoluut onvergetelijke ervaring, erg goed eten, mooie wijnen, fantastische service. Ik kan niet anders dan op alle punten een excellente score geven. Dit is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar en de "word of mouth" verspreid zich al via de 18 gasten. Zelf al meerdere aanbevelingen gedaan aan vrienden. Merlin en Sebastiaan geweldig gewoon!
