I am Chef François Savin, a private chef on the French Riviera. I have cooked for twenty years, trained in Michelin-starred kitchens, and for the past ten years I have brought that cuisine into private homes and villas along the coast. Along the way I have cooked for an international clientele across some ten countries.
What I love is the cuisine of the South of France: seasonal, generous, built around the sea and the garden, with the morning market deciding the menu. I design each dinner with my guests, choose every product myself from trusted local suppliers, then cook and plate it in their own home, so the evening feels effortless. A refined, restaurant-quality dinner, with nothing for them to do but enjoy their guests.
A few of my signature dishes: Scallop Carpaccio with Citrus, Lemongrass Sorbet and Artichoke Crisps; Large Lobster Ravioli with a Fresh Herb Jus and Lemongrass Bisque; and Lightly Seared Wild Turbot with Champagne Sabayon. And the one my guests keep coming back for, my longtime bestseller: the Chocolate Fondant with Espelette Pepper Crème Anglaise.
