Chef Maison was such a great find. It was so easy to find a chef to come to our French town. Chef Hortense responded immediately, she had excellent reviews and sent a proposed menu that was fabulous. We settled on the evenings menu, and I paid online. We touched base a couple of times just before our agreed upon date. The Chef was punctual and cooked an amazing meal for our small group of seven. I highly recommend Chef Maison and Chef Hortense. I will be using Chef Maison again on our family trip to Portugal in the spring.

Nous avons fait appel à Hortense pour un dîner privé dans notre maison d’été, dans la région de Grasse, à l’occasion d’une petite fête entre amis. Elle est venue accompagnée d’une assistante, qui s’est également montrée très gentille, souriante et d’une grande aide pour assurer le service.

Le repas était excellent, raffiné et parfaitement préparé. Hortense s’est montrée très professionnelle, chaleureuse et attentive tout au long de la soirée. Grâce à leur talent, leur efficacité et leur gentillesse, notre dîner a été une véritable réussite.

Nous les recommandons vivement et n’hésiterons pas à faire de nouveau appel à elles !

Hortense prepared a truly amazing meal for our group of 10 while in Côte d’Azur. Very dish was perfect, making for what was a perfect night with friends. Highly recommend!

Chef Hortense was absolutely incredible. Great communication, super accommodating to dietary requirements, children and adults! Most importantly great cook who presented her dishes immaculately. Would highly recommend and if we visit the region again, really hope she is available!

She was so professional on the evening - somehow made the outdoor table look beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious. Hortense was as excellent as we’d hoped for my husband’s birthday dinner.  She was professional, kind and her food was absolutely delicious. She had the unfortunate experience of an oven that didn’t work and she pulled it off like a pro, creating a delicious meal for 18 of us to enjoy! We will surely hire her again when we come to the area. Merci Hortense!

We loved the dinner experience with Chef Hortense. All courses were well-balanced, from amuse bouche all the way to dessert. Her wine recommendations worked really well for the different courses. Our dialogue and interaction from quotation, ordering, arrival at our place and then her work was perfect. Communication was easy when we discussed food choices, allergies, exact timing. She did a great job observing our food preferences as well as on presenting each course, alternating between French and English. As we had an open kitchen, we could follow the artistic process. We remained curious about what we ate and Hortense did a great job presenting the four courses we had, how she had prepared them, cooking style, etc. We can absolutely recommend her for a dinner party.

We absolutely loved our dinner with Chef Hortense! It was sadly our last night on Holiday but what a fantastic way to end a trip! Chef Hortense prepared an amazing dinner for eight people and had it on schedule as promised. The flavors and presentation were outstanding. Chef Hortense was also a kind and loving person that you can tell cares about making sure you are happy and taken care of. Chef Hortense communicated promptly and with great ease! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A fabulous meal and service from Chef Hortense to celebrate my partners Birthday. From initial contact and corresponding on menu options to her arrival on the day everything went very well. The meal was served promptly with the flavours and presentation of an outstanding quality. Hortense is a very personable, pleasant and polite individual and was very accommodating to our requests. Thankfully for me her English was perfect too. I highly recommend Chef Hortense.

La cheffe Hortense a été d'un professionnalisme et d'une gentillesse durant toute la préparation en amont et pendant le diner lui même. 
• La préparation a été d'une facilité grâce à ses communications claires et efficaces. Elle a su également s'adapter et proposer des solutions gourmandes avec les contraintes alimentaires présentées. 
• Le service en lui même était impeccable - la cheffe s'est adaptée avec facilitée à notre rythme et cerise sur le gâteau, elle a même pu expliquer chaque plat en anglais, thank you! 
• Enfin la cuisine était très bien rangée et nettoyée au départ de la cheffe.

In fine, les 10 convives ont tous adoré les plats servis par la cheffe Hortense. Un vrai délice !
