Chef Patrick Nurbel hails from the island of Réunion. He has been cooking since his childhood and remains passionate about the flavors of his island: Réunion Creole cuisine is a blend of French and European influences as well as African, Indian, Malagasy, and Chinese. Attuned to the developments of his time, he has also incorporated elements of Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisine.
