Ik was via Chef Maison op Merlin en Sebastiaan gestuit terwijl ik op zoek was naar een thuis chef om mijn verjaardag te vieren. Wat begon als een diner voor 10 personen eindigde in een groep van 20. Ten alle tijden was de communicatie super, was men flexibel en dacht goed mee. We hebben enorm genoten van de ambiance, de service en natuurlijk het overheerlijke eten! Chef Fay was absolutely out of this world and any expectations we had were exceeded! We experienced her passion and professionalism from the minute we started interacting, and all communication was always done in a friendly and timely manner. Chef Fay created an amazing menu for us with seasonal produce and managed to take us on a flavor journey unlike any other. She arrived well prepared with everything she needed and you could clearly tell that hours of preparation have already gone into the various elements. On top of being so well prepared, chef Fay is also extremely flexible and able to create the most amazing things in a heartbeat! An hour before our guests were due to arrived I enquired as to whether an additional course (amuse) would be possible, and even though this is never an ideal request, Fay did not hesitate to quickly get some fresh items from the AH and make this happen in the most amazing way imaginable. Chef Fay was absolutely lovely to have around; friendly, warm, spontaneous, courteous and so incredibly professional and polite. It was so lovely to enjoy the evening with our friends while glancing into the kitchen now and again to admire chef Fay at work, and then listen to her explain more about her creations with so much love and passion. She brought beautiful cutlery and crockery for every course and all courses were served with seamless elegance! Every course was absolutely gorgeous to look at but tasted even better than it looked. Chef Fay’s food is honest, sophisticated but not pretentious, modern and flavorful yet honoring some traditional elements, and full of imagination and surprise. Our guests could not stop talking about the food, and the manner in which chef Fay prepared and served it; and we share their sentiments! One of our guests kept saying “she’s a true natural professional” - and I think that says it all! We are more than thankful and appreciative for every single effort that went into making this evening unforgettable! It was perfection!

Chef Heri heeft samen met zijn assistent Theo bij ons thuis gezorgd voor een zeer smakelijk 4 gangen menu inclusief 2 amuses, waarbij in het bijzonder de heerlijke Okonomiyaki er bovenuit sprong. Onderdeel van ons gezelschap van 20 personen waren zowel gasten met glutenallergie als gasten met vegan dieetvoorkeuren. Chef Heri onderscheidde zich al tijdens het offerteproces met een menuvoorstel dat perfect aansloot op de dieetvoorkeuren waarbij de verschillen tussen 'wie wat kon eten' tot een minimum beperkt bleven. Chef Heri en Theo konden de groepsgrootte prima aan, communiceerden helder en waren netjes op tijd, waardoor ik ze zeker aan kan raden!

Wij hebben en geweldige avond gehad met Kok Micha en assistent Femke. Heerlijke gerechten, mooi opgemaakt, fantastisch bereid en fantasie volle gerechten. Iedere keer en mooi verhaal erbij en prettig uit geserveerd. Een top avond en na vertrek was de keuken weer spek en span. kijken alweer uit naar de volgende feestdagen.

We hebben een geweldige ervaring gehad met Ariënne, ze had zelf voor al het eten gezorgd en zelfs een extra helpende hand. Het voelde echt alsof we in een restaurant waren waar ze voor ons kookten. maar nu was het veel ontspannende en rustiger omdat er geen gehaast was. Het eten was heerlijk en ze hield goed rekening met de wensen van ons wat top was, ook voor een kleine aanpassing was het niet erg. Wij hebben erg genoten en we hopen dat ze haar dromen waar kan maken!! Liefs de 6-vriendinnen van vriendinnenweekend :)

Jan nam ruim de tijd ons nieuwe technieken te leren en uitleg te geven over samenstelling van het menu. We hebben zelfs geleerd pasta te maken wat niet eens onderdeel was van het uiteindelijke menu, maar omdat we dit beide wilden leren. We hebben een heel leuke avond gehad en gaan dit zeker nog eens doen. Topervaring!
