Roberto created an absolutely unforgettable private dining experience for my 25th birthday at a château I rented in the Loire Valley for my friends and me – the true highlight of the day’s entire celebration. From start to finish, every detail was executed with incredible care, warmth, and professionalism. The food was outstanding, with the scallops being, without question, the best any of us had ever tasted. The Brazilian-inspired aperitifs he prepared were a wonderful surprise and added such a unique, personal touch to the meal. The beef main was equally remarkable – one of the most flavourful filet dishes I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating thanks to the hand picked local asparagus, melt-in-the-mouth bone marrow, and knowledge that Roberto had been spent days preparing some of its elements to perfection. and – and made all the more impressive when
Not only was the food phenomenal, but Roberto was also incredibly accommodating of dietary requirements, including gluten- and dairy-free restrictions, which was greatly appreciated. To make the evening even more special, his wife, a talented pastry chef, created the most beautiful and delicious birthday cake, accompanied by homemade sorbet and amaretti biscuits that were every bit as exceptional. A marvellous duo the two of them make!
Roberto made the entire evening feel effortless, memorable, and perfect for such a special occasion. I cannot recommend him highly enough and am already looking forward to returning to the Loire Valley to visit his new restaurant.
